I’m a Teaching Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I currently teach a revolving set of courses including Interactive Computer Graphics, Production Computer Graphics, Numerical Methods, Virtual Reality, and Scientific Visualization.

My research includes work in the areas of visualization, mixed reality, scientific computing, and education. Most of this has been done in collaboration with a variety of industrial partners, including Exxon-Mobil, the Boeing Company, and Caterpillar.

I received my PhD from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I worked with Michael Garland.
